You may have been taught, or been unfortunate enough to learn first­hand, the consequences of mixing alcohol on a night out. However, a re­education may be in order, as a hybrid spirit called Vodquila is about to make an appearance on the UK market.

Vodquila, a hybrid blend of Vodka and Tequila has been creating waves in the alcohol industry.

The drink recently won a silver medal at the distinguished International Wine and Spirit Competition and is quickly becoming a regular fixture on US supermarket shelves.”

The potent hybrid is the work of Alabama-based father and daughter duo Chander and Nina Arora. The pair came up with the idea when Chander was mixing cocktails one night and his daughter Nina asked why he’d never tried his two favourite spirits together. Erm, can we answer this one?”
